Probably only Mercedes Benz would take the time to develop what they have named “Aircap system” for a cabriolet. Far from sounding like something that should belong on a top class car, it conjures up an image of something you get free in a hotel bathroom to use in the shower. In fact its fantastic. In a four seat cabrio, goggles are normally required in the rear seats, in the Merc however the little pop up devices, whilst looking a little cumbersome, do a great job of deflecting the air over the passenger compartment. Typically Mercedes, the handbrake is foot operated and powerful, the power steering is beautifully balanced and gives just the right amount of help. Ride wise, you can of course choose models of the car, we prefer the standard car, its soft enough and taught enough. Engine and gearbox wise, all are superb and is normally decided based on a users mileage and pocket size.
