One of the UK’s best-selling, and best-looking, luxury sports cars is getting a facelift. The incredible BMW 4 series, now circa 4 years into production, is having a quick revamp for 2017 (we believe the last orders for the current model need to be placed fairly imminently).
In keeping with the changes to the new BMW 5 series, the new facelift will focus on lighting and interior changes; there will also be the addition of two exciting colours called Snapper Rocks Blue and Sunset Organise within the range. Bi-LED headlights will feature as standard on the front plus adaptive full-LED lights can be offered, as a factory option, to improve lighting. A new multifunctional display is being made available so that the information shown to the driver can be amended to their requirements and display a multiple of facts and figures on the car. Aesthetically, new interior trims and stitching offer a plethora of styling option.
From an engine perspective, BMW are continuing with their new range – a 420i, 430i and 440i petrol derivative plus the ever-popular 420d, 430d and 435d x drive diesels.
The BMW 4 series is a leasing deal which appeals to younger drivers and older driver alike; the Gran Coupe in particular is an attractive option to a multitude of individuals, as it sporty and stylish yet practical and serene. For the mid-range company car driver, it can offer a solution which ticks many of the boxes.
However, would you choose this over the Audi A4 or the Mercedes C-Class or Mercedes CLA. Or would the Jaguar XE have your vote?
