Thank you to one of our leasing Ford suppliers for visiting the CarLease UK team in their recent demo addition – the Ford Focus Vignale.
As a credit broker, not a lender or supplier, we do not directly supply the car to the customer.
Some customers will, from time to time, enquire if we have any stock on premises to review and/or test-drive.
Unlike a franchised dealer, we do not hold stock so that customers can peruse our goods and enjoy a coffee!
So is it better to use a dealer than a broker? The old-days of “Them vs Us” has changed substantially and the credit broker/dealer network now work very closely together in order to produce the right results for the customer.
Some customers prefer to organise their new car from the comforts of their home/office and after reviewing cars online/getting quotes make a quick and efficient decision. Some customers simply don’t want to trawl through dealerships weekend after weekend.
In the alternative, some customers enjoy the face to face relationship that working with a franchised dealer allows. If the dealer is local to the customer, the comfort of the workshop/service centre being available in cases of issues under the vehicle warranty might just persuade them to consider this route.
There is no right or wrong decision here; it is about choosing a method which best meets your needs and requirements.
