Another thank you to our short-term hire partners, Enterprise car rental, for allowing us to demo this little car – say hello to the Vauxhall Adam Hatchback 1.4i Slam 3dr Manual (check deals.) Just to note, that if you are looking for daily or weekly rental in the Leigh/St Helens/Warrington/Wigan area, do speak with the team there.
CarLease UK are a credit broker (not a lender) and only offer long-term contract hire deals for customers looking at 24, 36 and 48 month deals. i.e. as an alternative to buying a car. We do not offer shorter and more flexible options.
The Vauxhall Adam lends itself to the young-driver market. While the car shown here probably isn’t the right engine (see technical details below), some of the smaller engines are a great option for first-time drivers. Can a young person lease a car? The short answer is yes BUT you do need to carefully consider the facts before proceeding with a new lease vehicle.
Contract hire is a credit-based product and therefore you must be aged 18 or over before you can apply for credit.
Added to that, is the fact that you do need good credit in order to obtain our offers. Before speaking with us, check with credit rating websites, such as Experian, which will help you understand your credit position including – your electoral registered address, any outstanding credit agreements and any evidence of poor credit behaviour.
For some young people still living at home with their parents or guardians, we do have some finance companies who will consider a joint application to assist.
Also be aware that insurance is NOT included with contract hire arrangements, so you need to need to procure accurate quotes on the vehicle before looking to proceed. As you must have comprehensive insurance, please do not try to cut corners or do anything untoward as this could create issues further down the line.
In terms of the car pictured here ,the Vauxhall Adam Hatchback 1.4i Slam 3dr Manual, it is based on the following:
· Brilliant paint – James blonde
· Morrocana cloth – Superheroes Black
· Roof colour pack (Black Jack) – Adam
· 17″ Hurricane alloy wheels in black gloss finish
The standard specification on the car includes dark tinted windows, tinted glass, hill start assist, sports suspicion, Bluetooth, cruise control, electrically adjustable/heated door mirrors, 17” alloys ,leather steering wheel, interior courtesy light and immobiliser. In terms of additional factory options, consider the leather upholstery (inc heated seats) and VXR styling pack for a more complete, personalised car.
On the technical-side, company car drivers should consider the P11d at £15,820.00 and CO2 at 125g/km. The 1398CC 5 speed manual turbo engine delivers 100ps, which propels you to 62MPH in circa 11.5 seconds and offers combined MPG of 52.3. Service intervals are set at every 12 months or every 20,000 miles, whichever lands sooner. With the yearly service schedules, you might want to consider including a funder-maintained package to cover the cost of all servicing, maintenance and tyres? For a yound driver, do note the insurance group at 9E.
So would this be your first leasing car? With great competition from the Ford Fiesta, Fiat 500, Peugeot 108 and Hyundai i10, Vauxhall do have an uphill struggle to make this car the number.
