Continuing our luxury car leasing theme, we are very pleased to show the BMW X4 Diesel Estate xDrive20d M Sport 5dr Step Auto which one of our local Lincoln customers recently took delivery of. It’s great for the CarLease UK team to work with local customers, as face to face dealings really do give us an opportunity to showcase the level of service we offer here. Over the next few months we are going to be running some showcases and events, including a 3-day event at Stax (Check it out) in April and a weekend event at Bents Garden Centre (Check it out) over Summer. As we will be bringing plenty of exciting cars with us, make sure you come and join us!
The BMW X4 is the sports-SUV/SUV-coupe version of the mainstay BMW X3. A clear competitor to the Merc GLC Coupe and the Audi Q5, this offers the practicalities of a higher driving position and 4WD (great for our older drivers!) but still has the sporty and sleek dynamics of an interesting vehicle (great for our younger drivers). The X6, which is starting to look outdated when you compare it to the GLE coupe and the new Range Rover Velar, is a much bigger model. The X4 is definitely more manageable in size.
In terms of the car shown, the configuration includes:
· Xirallic Paint – Sophisto grey
· Nevada leather – Black
· 19″ light alloy wheels – M Double spoke style 622M
As standard, the car comes with plenty of good features including; cruise control (and brake function), Bluetooth, M Sports suspension, front/rear parking sensors, keyless ignition, BMW navigation system, iDrive controller, ambient lighting, heated front seats (sports seats) and the M sport multifunction steering wheel. In terms of factory options – consider adding the sun protection glass, surround camera system and the Professional Media Pack for the full experience.
Technically speaking, the 2.0 litre turbo diesel engine will offer you 190ps, which gets you to 62mph in circa 8 seconds. With CO2 of 136g/km and a P11d £42,740, this might be a little expensive for the company car driver?
Would the X4 be on your luxury contract hire list? Or would you go for the Mercedes GLC Coupe or the somewhat more expensive Range Rover Velar?
