An absolute pleasure to deliver this beautiful car, the VW GOLF HATCHBACK 1.4 TSI SE [Nav] 5dr Manual, to our existing business leasing customer from Culcheth (Warrington).
We have proudly supported our customer over the last 10 years and it does mean a lot that they have continued to trust our services for such a long time.
As this is a local customer, we arranged a collection and delivery service to minimise disruption to the customer. Arranging collection / returning your lease vehicle does not need to be a difficult process.
When you lease a vehicle with us, you will get an email 6 months before the contract end date to alert you as to the date for return and to start making the necessary preparations on the vehicle.
In particular:
· Has the service book been stamped by the franchised garage/VAT registered mechanic;
· Are you in possession of both keys;
· Are all the items that were supplied with the car still present – SD cars for navigation, spare wheels and tool kits; and
· Have you reviewed the condition of the vehicle against the industry’s standard – the fair wear and tear guidelines.
One misnomer is that you must return the vehicle in a perfect condition and that you will be charged for anything out of place. This is not a true reflection of the process. As discussed above your vehicle will be inspected in conjunction with the fair wear and tear guidelines. Any large dents, scratches or alloy damage will either need to be repaired or you will be charged after collection. For minor chips, dents and wear, this will be included within the industry standard and you will not be charged for the condition.
With local customers, we suggest they do come to the CarLease UK premises so we can help manage their expectations.
In terms of the car shown, the VW Golf petrol SE [Nav], this is based on the following configuration:
· Pure white Special solid paint
· Zoom/micro cloth – Titan Black
· 16″ Linas alloy wheels
Even though this is a fairly “low-specification” vehicle, this still includes discover navigation, 16” alloys, air conditioning, green tinted glass, rain sensing wipers, post collision braking system, Bluetooth, car-net app connect, adaptive cruise control, driver alert system, 8” touch screen, auto dimming rear view mirror, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, spare wheel, pre-crash system, alarm with interior protection, mirror pack and 60/40 split seats. Rather than add additional factory specification, consider upgrading to the sporty “GT” of the ultra-sporty “GTD”.
On the technical-side, company car and business users can note the P11d at £21,335.00 and CO2 of 120g/km. The 1395CC 6 speed manual engine delivers 125ps, 0-62 times of 9.1 seconds and combined MPG of 54.3. Service intervals are set at every 24 months or 10,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
So would the VW Golf be your number one leasing option? Or would you be going to the Ford Focus, BMW 1 series, Audi A3 or Seat Leon?
