A big thank you to our local Manchester customer for coming to the CarLease UK premises to collect their new vehicle – the Renault CAPTUR DIESEL HATCHBACK 1.5 dCi 90 Signature X Nav 5door Manual.
Our personal leasing customer was currently driving the Clio 1.5 dCi Dynamique but needed a vehicle which met their growing family requirements.
When you do become familiar with a certain manufacturer, some customers do stay within the brand to ensure the driving process is somewhat familiar and easier. Like many automotive customers, our current customer was looking for the SUV/crossover type experience in order to benefit from a higher driving position, increased load space yet not compromise on aesthetics.
It is simply astounding as to how popular this type of vehicle has become. The market shows no signs of slowing down.
As a returning customer, you are still expected to go through the same process as a new customer, in that the first stage of the process is a credit-check (proposal). Every time you obtain a new lease vehicle, you have to consider that this is a credit-based agreement and in every instance your personal details are requested – name, date of birth, telephone numbers, 5-year residential address history, 3-year employment history and income/expenditure.
Contrary to popular belief, contract hire is not a financial product you should pursue if you do have bad credit or if you experiencing credit-based issues.
Additionally, if you have used pay-day loans or temporary cash flow loans, this may prevent you from leasing a vehicle. These types of loans are incredibly harmful to your credit report and may preclude you from obtaining prime sources of funding moving forward. If you are looking for a new car and you do have credit concerns, make sure you get an credit report first, as this will help you with practical information before moving forward with credit brokers like us.
