This is a great cheap car leasing option which we delivered this week. The driver, a young student, needed a small and practical car but, due to the cost of car insurance, was restricted to a limited number of options which included:
· Peugeot 108;
· Toyota Aygo;
· Renault Twingo;
· VW Up!; or
· Citroen C1
Thankfully, we jumped onto an amazing deal on the Citroen C1 Hatchback 1.2 PureTech Flair 5dr Manual, which had a starting monthly price of around £120 including Vat and with no initial rental (i.e. no deposit/enhanced first payment). With the customer having to pay quite a large sum to their insurance company, an enhanced initial rental (typically a 6 spread) could have led to financial constraints. Because of the value, the customer also including a funder-maintained agreement, as this was a nominal cost based on the annual mileage; this effectively includes the cost of all maintenance, servicing, tyres and breakdown recovery for the duration of the 24 month agreement!
In terms of the deal, as stock was limited, our customer elected for the following configuration
· Gallium Grey metallic paint;
· Bi-Tone Caldera Roof
· Cloth – Grey wave;
Although a cost-effective solution, the Flair does have a credible level of specification including dark tinted windows, hill start assist, reversing camera, 7” touch screen, LED daytime running lights, air conditioning and 15” alloy wheels.
For a first-time driver, this does genuine offer a great option. Which small car would you go for?
