The new L2H2 Dispatch takes Citroen’s medium van into a load carrying capacity of some larger vans. With a load volume of over 7 cubic meters and a payload of over 1220 kg, it will no doubt take sales from some larger vans.
That is just where it starts. Compared to the Citroen Relay, the L2H2 is nearly £500 cheaper and at over 60 mpg, it is 20 mpg better on the combined cycle. It is smaller to drive day-to-day, easier to park and reverse but can still carry a similar load.
The new Enterprise pack, including heated mirrors, reversing sensors, steel bulkhead and cruise control looks like it will be the most popular spec for it as well. Sliding doors on each side and wide opening rear doors mean access to the load is really good .
Citroen have always made great diesels and the new 125 bhp lump is no different. It is strong, quiet and drives really well. Although quite an old van now, the face lifted version is going to be a success.
