The Mondeo is a popular company car, it is not a clean car by modern emissions standards. Ford have invested heavily in engines over the last two years and included in their successes are reductions of CO2 emissions for the Mondeo engines, usefully dropping the Mondeo into the 18% bracket. To help market competiveness, Ford have dropped the price by £1500 which lowers the P11D value but the spec should increase the future values. Business leasing of this beauty will be cheaper than ever.
Achieving lower consumption at a lower price in one go is a great recipe for success in the fleet market. For what is already
a great car, this will probably be a big seller.
Ford are due to launch a new Mondeo at the end of 2014 but the production of the Mondeo is due to move from Belgium to Spain in a new factory, to cover this period, the Titanium X Business has been produced.
