Known as the Hino 195h, it’s a 9 ton truck. The truck is driven by a 36 k/watt electric motor as well as a 200bhp diesel and has a six speed auto gearbox. With a combined torque of over 700 lb-ft, the combination of diesel and electric is well suited to heavy-duty work. Fuel consumption is over 30% better than the diesel only model, interest has been strong, but right now there are no signs of Toyota/Hino importing the monster.
