Thanks to our Network account manager for allowing us to photograph their beautiful new 17 plate BMW 3 SERIES DIESEL TOURING 330d xDrive M Sport 5dr Step Auto. The estate vehicle shown, currently on special offer, is based on the following configuration (which are all standard options):
· Dakota leather – Oyster/dark Oyster
· Hexagon aluminium trim with estoril blue matt finish
· 18″ M Star spoke alloy wheels – Style 400M
In terms of the car shown, the BMW 3 series Tourer as well as the saloon, has proved to be a fantastic lease deal for us. Without doubt this has been one of the stronger long term offers we have managed… The BMW 3 Series just tends to suit a great demographic in that there are low-end petrol derivatives ideal for younger drivers (due to insurance), comfortable executive models for the older driver and the higher end 335d and 340i derivatives for those looking for cars with a little more speed and performance. The 330d here is a great all-round offering – the 2993 CC 6-cylinger engine offers 258ps, 0-62 times of circa 5.4 seconds and a 56 combined MPG. Amazingly, the service intervals are every 24 months or 36,000 miles so running costs are surprisingly manageable. For company car drivers note the P11d of £41,135.00 and CO2 of 145g/km. By adding the X-drive, you can benefit from a 4WD system.
In terms of standard spec, you will have Dakota leather upholstery, LED headlights, Bluetooth, Business advanced Navigation, cruise control, heated door mirrors, 18” alloy wheels, Hill start assist, velour floor mats, rain sensing wipers, M Sport steering wheel, a load through system and front/rear parking sensors. If you want to add some nice additional factory extras, consider the reversing camera, Professional media (for the bigger screen) and the Plus Pack (for 19” alloys).
However, with the Mercedes C-Class Estate, Audi A4 Avant and the VW Passat Estate, making a firm decision can be quite difficult.
