Some of our local customers do take advantage of our personal service and arrange for their new lease vehicles to be delivered to our premises.
When you order a new vehicle with us, or a similar credit broker, the prices which you receive from us will include delivery to your home or business address.
Please note that in some cases that for personal contract hire arrangements, the vehicle will have to be delivered to your home address (i.e. not a business address/relative’s address) and for some business contract hire arrangements the vehicle will have to be delivered to your business address.
Delivery, as standard, generally means that a vehicle will be driven from the PDI centre to the customer.
A specific driver, who can be representative of the dealership, logistics company or auction house, will drive the vehicle directly to you for delivery.
The delivery mileage the vehicle incurs in the process does not form part of your contract with most finance companies, so when you sign the delivery note to accept the vehicle, do check that the delivery mileage is an accurate reflection of the circumstances. While the delivery driver should clean the vehicle before you inspect it, as the vehicle has been driven it may incur some form of wear/dirt. Therefore, pay close attention to the vehicle when you inspect it for any damage or marks.
You only sign for the vehicle when you are completely satisfied with it.
On a practical level, make sure that the vehicle matches the full description which we, or the other broker, will have supplied to you i.e. colour, specification, alloys and upholstery. If you have any concerns, contact us before accepting delivery. The vehicle should also include at least two sets of keys, a warranty/service book and a full set of car mats. For any vehicles which are delivered without mats, we will (at our own cost) send out these to you PLUS a first aid kit and hi-vis jacket!
Does my new lease vehicle have to be driven to me? In short, no. However, for any transported delivery, there may be an additional cost (this can be between £150 and £350 plus Vat). If you do not want the car to be driven to you, please let us, or the other supplier, know that this is what you require. Make sure you provide at least 7 days’ notice to avoid disappointment.
