Thank you to BMW Williams Liverpool for their recent visit to the CarLease UK team. As a credit broker, not a lender OR franchised-dealer, we sit very much in the middle of the arrangement with our customers and associated parties.
While we operate an exclusive relationship with BMW Park Lane (London), some of our customers who are local to us, particularly Manchester and Liverpool, do request that we use a local dealer for them (if possible).
Some of the leasing deals we offer allow us to nominate a dealer to deliver the vehicle to the customer. Looking forwards to servicing, some customers prefer to establish a relationship as early as possible, so that if anything does go wrong during the arrangement, they have a direct contact local to them.
To confirm, when you lease a car, the cost of the delivery is included, in that car will often be driven to your home or business address.
It is rare that a transported arrangement will be available. However, for some local customers, the ability to collect their new vehicle is a nice touch. In these cases, if we can facilitate it, we will do so.
While the arrival of our BMW supplier is timely, given our very recent 4 series coupe and gran coupe offers, some of the meeting was to discuss the “electrification” of the UK’s automotive fleet. BMW, like many manufacturers, is investing more time and resource into pure electric vehicles.
This is particularly relevant for any company car drivers, business owners, fleet managers and anyone affected by a congestion/low emission charge.
In terms of the car shown here, the BMW 4 Series Diesel Coupe 420d [190] Sport 2dr Auto [Business Media], this is based on the following configuration:

The 1995CC 8 speed auto diesel engine delivers 60.1 combined MPG (EC), 47.1 combined MPG (WLTP), 190ps and 0-62 times of 7.2 seconds. Service intervals on a diesel 4 series are every 24 months or 18,000 miles, whichever lands sooner.
So would you select the 4 series as the next car leasing option? Or would the Audi A5, Mercedes C Class or Mercedes CLA or VW Arteon get your vote?
