The new Ford KUGA DIESEL ESTATE 2.0 TDCi 180 ST-Line 5dr Manual (browse deals) awaiting to be delivered, by trailer, to our personal car leasing customer, in Manchester, last week. This was actually delivered in conjunction with the beautiful Jaguar F-Pace we wrote about yesterday. One point to note on delivery of lease vehicles, is that they can be delivered on a trailer or they may be driven to a customer directly. More often than not, it is the latter which is the preferred route of delivery for most of our suppliers, so please do not presume the car will arrive on a trailer. If you are liaising with us, or another leasing company, do make it clear that you require a vehicle to be trailer delivered. This may be subject to additional costs.
In terms of colour/spec choice on the Kuga here, the customer elected for:
· Deep Impact Blue Metallic Paint
· Dinamica/Leather – Charcoal black
· 18″ 5×2 spoke Dark machined alloy wheels
The ST Line is one of Ford’s latest specification additions; it is available on the Fiesta, Focus, Moneo and Kuga and is all part of providing more “sporty” vehicles. While the Fiesta, the Uk’s bestselling vehicle, and Mondeo are a stable offering in the company car market, Ford have fallen behind competitors when it comes to aesthetics and styling. On the Ford Kuga, the St Line will provide a customer with a quickclear screen, enhanced park assist, rear parking sensor, electric folding mirrors, body styling kit, LED lights, cruise control, Ford SYNC 3 nav, 18” alloys, and cruise control. A lot of customers will add rear privacy glass, which is a factory option (not standard), plus there are useful packs with the Winter pack (heated front seats and steering wheel) and the ST Line style pack (xenon lights).
The difficulty for Ford is that there are so many big competitors including the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tuscon, Nissan Qashqai and the Rentual Kadjar – to name but a few!
