Following on from our BMW 5 series blog, we thought it might be good to showcase another luxury car leasing option, the Jaguar XF DIESEL SALOON 3.0d V6 S 4dr Auto (browse deals…) The XF does get labelled the older drivers’ car but, when you consider the beautiful vehicle here, it is fair to say that it definitely appeals to the younger driver too!
Our Manchester lease customer went for the following configuration:
· Dark Sapphire Blue metallic paint
· Taurus leather – Light oyster/jet
· 19″ 7 twin spoke silver razor alloy wheels
As the epitome of the Jaguar XF diesel range, you are blessed with some nice specification including 8” colour screen, bi-xenon headlights, InControl navigation, cruise control, 10 way electric front seats, heated front seats, Meridian 380W premium sound system, electric folding mirrors, front and rear parking aid, lane departure warning, reversing camera and keyless start. Apart from some nice aesthetic touches which are worth adding – privacy glass, tread plates, gloss black veneer – the car is pretty much ready to go in its current form.
From a technical perspective, the Jag XF offers 300BHP which propels you to 62mph in under 6 seconds. In terms of efficiency, this has a combined MPG of 51.4. For reference, service intervals are set at every 12 months or 16,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
You cannot deny that this is a beautiful machine but does it do enough to complete with the brand new BMW 5 series? Will Jaguar have to go back to the drawing board with this one?
