Thank you to our personal car lease customer, from Warrington (Cheshire), for sending through pictures of their new March “19 plate” car – the Kia Sportage SUV.
As an online broker, many of our customers are nationwide based; we work with customers in Scotland, Wales, London and even Northern Ireland (to name but a few!).
However, we have invested more time and attention into our local personal and business customers, as the growth of leasing has brought our finance product to more and more people. To bolster this investment, CarLease UK (in association with Car-E-Lease) are sponsoring this year’s Leigh Business Expo.
While the online age sees many relationships happen across emails and portals, the traditional method of face to face business and relationships is not dead. There are still fantastic opportunities for small and medium businesses to connect on a more personal basis; having attended the Expo twice already, we can personally attest to the connections we have forged.
For any businesses in the Leigh, Wigan, Warrington or St Helens area, this Expo will present a great opportunity to meet some fantastic like-minded entities.
Another interesting meeting for the Car-E-Lease team takes place on Thursday 14 March – the “Go Electric” event which is being hosted by the Transport for Greater Manchester in partnership with Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. Local businesses in the Greater Manchester area are faced with more conundrums about the right type of vehicle to operate for them, their employees or their businesses as a whole.
Having local businesses to rely on is more and more important as these are huge decisions to make. Our electric car and van leasing team will be there to meet and great local constituents and speak to them about the growth and opportunities of the electric contract hire and leasing sector.
Which fuel should I be choosing for me or my business? This is now a real focus point for many customers as there is so much information in the public domain saying petrol is the future, be mindful of diesel and electric infrastructure not quite there. The plethora of facts, some being founded and others not, makes a customer’s buying or leasing decision almost impossible.
To help our customers, we have put together an “Alternative Fuel Decision Tree” which can be found in our current Alternative Fuel section – We hope this serves as a more simple flow chart for customer to understand which fuel choice may best meet their needs and requirements. To explain further – if you are driving high mileages (in motorway style journeys) it is unlikely a purely petrol or purely electric car would assist whereas for city driving stop/start journeys the opposite would apply. It is easy to get carried away with CO2, MPG and company car tax savings yet ignore the fundamental question – What Fuel is ACTUALLY right for me or the business. This is where we stress to customers that the monthly price is not everything. Try to consider what is really important.
