Our happy, local (Manchester based) customer has arrived at CarLease UK premise to pick up their new luxury, executive and prestige motor.
The E Class Mercedes is now the bench mark for all mid-sized lease vehicles, and it is no surprise that the E Class leads the way in terms of style and prestige in this segment…
Our customer wanted a car which was automatic and not only performed well on motorways but around town too, also the customer wanted a vehicle which had bags of curb appeal and safety all rolled into one package as well as a luxury car which could travel through Europe with ease…
Options included a BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and the Volvo S90 but, considering the lease price and performance of the Mercedes E Class AMG Line – it seemed to be an easy choice for this customer who was delighted to collect their vehicle from us.
In terms of the car shown; The Mercedes Benz E220D AMG Line (auto) our customer elected for the following criteria;
Obsidian Black Metallic Paint
Artico Dinamica Black Leather
19″ AMG Twin Spoke Alloys (Titanium grey with high sheen finish)
AMG Interior Mats/ Carpeting
Reversing Camera & Navigation
Obsidian black metallic is the perfect choice for the E Class and Artico Dinamica Black leather is the ideal interior to go with it, easy to keep clean and with an executive finish the cars interior is perhaps one of the nicest in any of the cars we have reviewed recently. The 19” AMG twin spoke alloys in titanium grey with high sheen finish are the icing on the cake and really make this car stand out as the luxury vehicle it is.
On the technical side, the Mercedes e220d AMG Line has a Euro 6 approved engine which kicks out just 112(g/km) C02 and has a P11d Value of £41,215 – 1950cc diesel engine boasts 194 BHP and can whisk the car from 0-62 in just 7.3 seconds with a top speed of 149 MPH yet, when mated to the 9 speed semi auto gearbox can top a massive 68 MPG (extra urban) on long runs. Servicing wise, the Mercedes range are ‘long life’ – which means servicing is every 12 month or 15,500 miles (which ever comes sooner) hence many customers consider a funder maintained agreement when leasing this vehicle.
So would the Mercedes E Class e200d AMG line be your choice in luxury lease vehicle or would you opt for the BMW 5 series diesel, the Audi A6 or the Volvo S90 which also compete in this segment?
