Following on from our blog on the UK’s favourite small hatchback, the Ford Fiesta, we thought it would be good to show a competitive comparison which we delivered to one our local Manchester business leasing customers, the Chiang Mai Bistro. Our fantastic foodie customer is based in Stockton Heath and Newton-Le-Willows (Northwest England).
Our existing customer needed a company car for one of their managers who has to operate between their two sites. As a younger-driver, insurance costs were a primary consideration to the business, so we needed to focus on vehicles which were more affordable to insure. However, cars like the Peugeot 108 and the Citroen C1 (city-cars) were simply too small for carrying around products and goods. City cars are very cheap car leasing deals but they are not always the most practical of vehicles. If you do need passenger and boot-space, they may simply not be suitable.
The preferred option was the Seat Ibiza Hatchback Special Edition 1.0 Sol 5dr Manual (browse deals,) based on:
· White Special Solid Paint
· Moulty Cloth Upholstery – Black
· 15″ Marsala Alloy Wheels
Back in January we were running a great lease deal on this car and the customer needed something which was cost-efficient on a “no-deposit” lease deal. Compared to the Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 208 and VW Polo deals, the Seat Ibiza was much more competitive.
In terms of specification, the car includes tinted glass, floor mats, DAB radio, body coloured bumpers, air conditioning, media system pack and 15” alloys. In truth, this is a tad basic but for some companies, they need practical and frugal car options which are affordable. Not everyone needs leather, sat nav and parking sensors!
What do you think to it?
