Skoda have developed so much over the last few years, thankfully due to the VW influence, so that they are now one of the leading mid-range manufacturers for lease vehicles. With a credible line-up of company car options, including the Octavia (hatchback and estate) and the Superb (hatchback and estate) plus a new 5 and 7 seat SUV option with the Kodiaq, Skoda are hitting the market with some good offerings. While there is still some trepidation from some customers who still believe this is an inferior product, the positive marketing and increasing design quality is making customers think.
Perhaps the only critique is that there are not enough “sporty” models to tempt customers across and therefore younger drivers are less inclined to jump into one.
The car pictured here is the Skoda Superb Diesel Hatchback 2.0 TDI CR Sport Line 5dr DSG (browse deals) which is very much the “VRS” answer to the Superb; a much needed sporty and fresh revision to ensure the car is not just for the older driver.
The car pictured is based on:
· Special paint – Corrida red
· Alcantara/leather – Black
· 19″ Vega alloy wheels
The car pictured is the more company car (and tax) friendly option. The CO2 at 119g/km and 62.8 MPG makes this an efficient 150ps option. Although it does have a healthy P11d of £30,060.00. For the more speed-minded, you can go for a 190ps (0-62 time of 7.7 seconds instead of 8.9 seconds).
In terms of specification, the car will offer sunset/tinted glass, adaptive cruise control, 8” Columbus navigation, fatigue detection, electric folding mirrors, LED package plus, Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, dual zone air conditioning and 19” alloys. In terms of factory options, you can add front parking sensors, heated front seats and a spare wheel, which will probably make this a complete vehicle.
