It’s not all Land Rover’s and BMW’s here! We do have a great facility to offer cheap and good value car leasing options to our personal and business customers, particularly for those looking at low mileage contracts…
This is a great example here; say hello to the Nissan Note Hatchback 1.2 Acenta Premium 5 door Manual which we delivered to a personal lease customer in Manchester recently.
The customer needed a vehicle on a contract which was covering just 5,000 miles per annum, which we would classify as a “low mileage contract”. There is some misunderstanding amongst some customers, in that the minimum mileage is 10,000 miles per annum. While many car leasing brokers like us do advertise at 10,000 miles per annum, it is possible to request lower mileages and we can often accommodate many of the requests.
If you are looking at low mileage vehicles, in particular for city style driving, you do need to consider the petrol vs diesel debate too.
Historically, customers have utilised diesel cars in an effort to procure a fuel efficient vehicle but, due to the way a diesel car functions, there have been issues pertaining to the DPF filter. Before making a decision, do consider your driving style carefully.
In terms of the car shown, the customer elected for the following configuration:
· Special Solid – Artic White
· Dynamic Cloth – Black
· 15″ Alloy Wheels
The Acenta Premium is one of the higher specifications on offer in the Nissan Note range. As standard you benefit from automatic wipers, privacy glass, Bluetooth, sat nav system, electric door mirrors, automatic headlights, climate control, cruise control, 15” alloys and an alarm/immobiliser. Like many manufacturers, you cannot add any additional factory specification, you actually need to “go up” in the specification range. In this instance, you would go for the “Tekna” which adds a few more bits like an around view camera, low navigation system and premium cloth/leather upholstery.
On the technical side, company car drivers can note the P11d at £15,520.00 and CO2 of 109g/km. The 1198CC 5 speed petrol engine offers a manageable 80ps which will get you to 62mph in circa 13.7 seconds and will deliver a combined MPG of 60.1. Servicing obligations are every 12 months or 12,500 miles, whichever lands sooner.
In terms of alternatives, you could consider the Ford Fiesta, Seat Ibiza, Citroen C3 and VW Polo. This places the Nissan Note in a somewhat competitive class, where the customer has a varied choice of good value leasing options.
Perhaps they Nissan lends itself more to the older driver?
Which would be your choice?
