Firstly, thank you to our Cambridge personal leasing customer for making the journey to Manchester to collect his car from the CarLease UK premises. Due to distance-selling regulations, we can only offer delivery after the 14-day cooling-off period. However, in some circumstances we can organise this more quickly by customers signing finance documentation on our premises and driving off in their new car straight away.
We will always do our best to facilitate a customer’s requirement.
We are absolutely thrilled that the new Golf, the MK 7.5, has finally landed! The latest rendition of the Golf has been given some subtle aesthetic changes, while improving some of the safety and infotainment features. What is probably the UK’s best-selling “middle-class” hatchback is a crucial cog in the VW wheel.
With the Golf, the Volkswagen group has a car which can be massively attractive to the younger driver with the GTD, GTi and 310ps R available to them (insurance dependent!). However, the SE Nav and GT options perhaps offer something which are more demure and low-key and would therefore be suitable for the older generation?
Add to that the healthy mix of petrol and diesel derivatives to consider.
The car shown is perhaps the flasgship vehicle within the Golf group, the Volkswagen GOLF DIESEL HATCHBACK 2.0 TDI 184 GTD 5dr. The car our personal leasing customer received is the manual model and based on the following configuration:
· Indium grey – metallic paint
· Jacara cloth upholstery
· Piano black centre console
· 18″ Seville alloy wheels
The GTD is laced with great features – sports seats, active info displays, discover navigation, winter pack, LED headlights with corning function, 18” alloy wheels, rain sensing wipers, Bluetooth, active cruise control, differential lock, pre-crash system, mirror pack, ambient light pack, multifunction steering wheel and 2 zone climate control.
What is also impressive with this machine is the technical capability. For the company car user, note the CO2 of 125g/km and P11d of £28,235.00. In term of performance, the 2.0 litre diesel engine will deliver a combined MPG of 60.1, 184ps and 0-62 mph times of 7.5 seconds. On the servicing side, you need to arrange this every 24 months or 10,000 miles, whichever lands sooner.
The GTD leasing offer has already been immensely popular in both the manual (Browse Deals) and DSG (auto) (Browse Deals) form. If your budget does stretch, the DSG is well-worth confirming, particular for anyone covering the higher mileages.
The DSG system is just practical and functional.
While no one can dispute that this is a beautiful machine and a great lease offer, it does face massive competition from the equally amazing BMW 1 series, Audi A3 and Mercedes A-Class. Which one of these beauties would you choose? Comment Below…
