The brash and bold pocket-rocket machine which is the Mini Hatchback 2.0 Cooper S 5dr (Chili Pack) Manual. The customer, based in Somerset, wanted something which was both aesthetically pleasing and quick but without being too much (i.e. the VW Golf R, Audi S3 and Mercedes A45 AMG).
The competitively-priced Mini leasing deal just fitted the customer nicely and, with a low-mileage requirement, the 2.0 petrol was the practical option. As mini have developed a 2.0 SD (diesel), some of the higher mileage lease customers are electing to utilise that engine. However, as consumers are waking-up to the practicality of a DPF and diesel engines, petrol is coming back with a vengeance.
