Reimagined, not reinvented: while the all-new Audi Q5 retains its unmistakable profile, its appearance has become sharper. The front is more distinctive and the trademark, sweeping shoulder line is even more defined. But it’s the introduction of intelligent new features that make driving safer, more comfortable and more efficient that really distinguish the latest model in the Audi Q range.
Optional Adaptive Cruise Control, for example, automatically slows the car down when approaching traffic. It can even bring the car to a halt – and drive off again when the way ahead is clear. With optional Predictive Efficiency Assist, it gets really clever. Using navigation data, the Q5 anticipates climbs, descents and traffic ahead and encourages the driver to coast or freewheel safely on approach, rather than brake. It not only makes driving more pleasurable – it helps reduce fuel consumption.
Inside, the all-new Audi Q5 offers more headroom and legroom than the previous model. And, with optional ambient lighting and luxurious materials, there’s a sense of comfort and calm. To stay connected, optional Audi Connect links to online services like entertainment, traffic & travel news, weather updates and navigation with Google Earth. The optional Audi Virtual Cockpit displays driver information on a 12.3 LCD colour screen. And Smartphone Interface, that integrates smartphone apps like maps, music and messaging, comes as standard.
Official fuel consumption figures for the all-new Audi Q5 range in mpg (l/100km) from: Urban 25.7 (11.0) – 52.3 (5.4), Extra Urban 39.8 (2.1) – 58.9 (4.8), Combined 33.2 (8.5) – 56.5 (5.0). CO₂ emissions: 195 – 132g/km. Fuel consumption and CO₂ figures are obtained under standardised EU test conditions (Directive 93/116/EEC). This allows a direct comparison between different manufacturer models but may not represent the actual fuel consumption achieved in ‘real world’ driving conditions.
