Another Evoque leasing deal supplied and delivered… this time to a personal leasing customer in Manchester. The Evoque displays no signs of becoming any less popular – in particular the 2WD eD4 SE tech and 4WD SE Tech Auto are very much the car to go for. While Mercedes have their GLA and GLC, BMW with their X3 and X4 plus the Audi with their new Q5, Land Rover still seem to have the market-edge.
While the newer 2.0 litre diesel engine is definitely an improvement, even the previous 2.2 derivative was popular, so we think it is very much brand image and customer aspiration which must be driving the demand?
In terms of the car shown, the Range Rover Evoque Diesel Hatchback 2.0 TD4 SE Tech 5dr Auto, the customer elected for the following configuration:
· Loire Blue Metallic Paint
· Perforated grained leather – Ebony
· Colourway – Ebony/Ebony
· Satin Brushed Aluminium Inserts
· Cirrus Headlining
· 18″ 5 Split Spoke Alloy Wheel with Sparkle Silver Finish – Style 506
· Panoramic Glass Sunroof/Electric Blind
As standard, the car includes Hill start assist, carpet mats, Bluetooth and voice control, cruise control, parking sensors (front and rear), InControl protect, automatic lights, heated front seats, navigation, electrically adjustable door mirrors, grained leather, fog lights, climate control and internal illumination. In terms of additional specification to complete the car, consider the privacy glass, panoramic sunroof and the colour contrast roof.
For the company car/business contract hire driver – the P11d on the standard model is £37,215.00 and the CO2 is 134g/km. From a technical perspective the 2.0 litre diesel delivers 180ps which offers 55.4MPG and 0-62mph times of 9 seconds. Fairly reasonable for the 9 speed automatic transmission. From a servicing perspective – you need to adhere to the 24 month/21,000 mile intervals.
So what do you think – is the Evoque the ultimate in small luxury SUV? Or would you consider an alternative?
