Thank you to our local personal lease customer, from Leigh (Greater Manchester), for visiting the team to collect their new car – the Hyundai Tucson SUV.
As a local customer, we offer a facility whereby the vehicle is delivered directly to the CarLease UK premises, so that we can appraise the vehicle on their behalf and then personally handover the vehicle to our customer. The majority of our customers will receive their vehicle via a “driven-delivery”. What this means is that the vehicle is collected by a logistics company driver and is then physically driven from the pre-delivery inspection centre (PDI) to the customer’s home or business address.
While some customers expect that the car will arrive on a transporter, this is actually a rare occurrence.
While a small number of our suppliers will utilise a transported delivery, this is often an additional cost with most manufacturers. If you do want to arrange a transported delivery, expect to pay £250-400 plus Vat for this. If you are a personal, or business, customer in the Manchester or Liverpool area and you do want a more personal service, just get in touch with our team and we will be more than happy to arrange a personal handover.
Leasing a diesel vehicle, like the one shown, has become more of a rarity over the last 18 months. Through political and economic changes, customer buying habits have substantially changed – diesel has been well and truly demonised (incorrectly we may add). While recent literature has been more accurate, so that customers are provided the right information, there is still some reticence to pursue the diesel engine – particularly now that electric and other alternative fuels are now available.
Part of the “fuel choice” issue is that new charging zones around London have provided a misleading impression on what is acceptable and what is not acceptable.
In terms of the car shown here, the Hyundai Tucson Diesel Estate 1.6 CRDi SE Nav 5 Door 2WD (Manual), this is based on the following configuration:
· Micron Grey Metallic Paint
· Cloth – Black
· 17″ Alloy Wheels
As standard the car includes rain sensing wipers, rear privacy glass, tinted glass with shade band, downhill assist control, hill start assist control, trailer stability assist, emergency stop signal system, Apple car play, Bluetooth, cruise control, driver alert system, lane keep assist, rear parking sensor, reversing camera, 8” touchscreen, auto dimming rear view mirror, body coloured externals, front skid plate, silver roof rails, automatic headlights (with dusk sensor), follow me home headlights, LED headlights/brake lights/daytime running lights, climate control, space saver spare wheel, 17” alloy wheels, LED illuminated vanity mirrors, alarm, immobiliser, driver’s electric adjustable lumbar support and speed sensitive auto locking. There are no additional factory options to add to the Hyundai Tuscon but you can upgrade to either the Premium or Premium SE.
On the technical-side, company car and business users can note the P11d at £25,366.00 and CO2 at 130g/km,. The 1598CC 6 speed manual diesel delivers 57.6 combined MPG (EC), 48.7 combined MPG (WLTP), 0-62 times of 11.8 seconds and 115ps.
So would you select the Hyundai as your next SUV leasing option? Or would the VW Tiguan, Nissan Qashqai, Renault Kadjar or Seat Ateca get your vote?
