Thanks to our new personal leasing customer, based in Derby, for allowing us to photograph their new Range Rover Evoque Diesel Hatchback 2.0 TD4 HSE Dynamic 5dr Manual (browse deals) before we organised the after-market privacy glass and colour contrast roof (after-shots to follow!).
For some of our more local customers, particularly in the Manchester and Liverpool area, we do organise after-market accessories to the vehicles we supply. When you consider the Evoque with privacy glass from the factory at £300 plus Vat and colour contrast roof at £433 plus Vat, you do have to consider whether you want to pay that much for these additional extras. With contract hire, you can add accessories to the vehicles so long as this is identified to the relevant finance company before the vehicle is delivered and forms part of the contract.
Obviously there are restrictions on the types of accessories or sign-writing you can add to a vehicle; bear in mind that when a contract finishes, the vehicles are collected and taken to auction to be sold. If you have added accessories which are materially detrimental to the vehicle, this will sell for less money than the finance company anticipated. For minor additions as per the privacy glass/colour contrast roof, these can be added to the vehicle and, when you consider these will cost the customer circa £300 inclusive of Vat, you do have a successful combination.
The Range Rover Evoque leasing deal continues to be ever-popular. This is still our most searched for vehicle and it shows no signs of relenting. It really does show how integral this vehicle is to the Jaguar Land Rover Group. It is actually surprising Jaguar have not yet introduced a similar option based on the aesthetics of a Jaguar, as the F-pace is considerably bigger than the Evoque. We do find the Mercedes GLC and BMW X3, plus the Audi Q5, still fall behind in this competition.
In terms of the car shown, the specification is based on the following:
Metallic Paint – Yulong White
Oxford Perforated sports Leather – Lunar/Ivory
Colourway – Lunar/Ivory
Ebony Headlining
Textured aluminium inserts
20” 5 Split-Spoke Alloys ‘Style 504’
Second Row Bench Seat
With the customer electing for the HSE Dynamic, essentially the elite model (except the Autobiography), the standard car features InControl Touch Pro navigation, carpet mats, heated front seats, 20” style 504 alloy wheels, 12 way electrically adjustable front seats (with lumbar support), ebony headlining, Xenon headlights, rear view camera, rain sensing wipers, Bluetooth, Narvik black mirror caps, electrically/heated/folding mirrors, perforated leather steering wheel, auto climate control and Oxford perforated leather. With all that specification, there are very few options worth adding – perhaps the panoramic glass sunroof, contrast roof and privacy glass would complete the vehicle?
For the company car users, the key technical info is as follows:
· P11d of £41,454.17;
· CO2 of 125g/km;
· 58.9 MPG;
· 180ps;
· 0-62 times of 10 seconds; and
· Service intervals of every 24 months or 21,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
