Thank you to our existing personal leasing customer, from Stafford, for sending through pictures of their new car – the Toyota C-HR SUV Hybrid.
A point which was raised during this transaction was the note of “delivery”. When you lease a vehicle, the car will be delivered to your home or business address.
This is not an additional cost and is included with the monthly rentals you make.
In most cases, the car will be a “driven delivery”, in that a collection agent will personally collect the car from the PDI centre and drive it directly to the customer. The vehicle arrives with the delivery mileage and, in most cases, this does not form part of the contract mileage.
In some cases, as per the one here, the vehicle will arrive via a “transported delivery”, which means that a car is placed on the back of a small low-loader and will be driven to the customer.
In many cases, this facility is available for an additional cost (usually £200-400 plus Vat). For some lucky customers, like the one here, this is included free of charge. Before leasing the car, check with the finance company/broker for the term of delivery.
In terms of the car shown here, the Toyota C-HR HATCHBACK 1.8 Hybrid Icon 5 door CVT (Auto) (Petrol), this is based on the following configuration:
· Nebula blue Metallic Paint
· Cloth – Black
· 17″ 5 spoke alloy wheels
As standard the car includes rain sensing wipers, heated rear windscreen, 17” alloys, ESP and traction control, hill start assist control, Bluetooth, adaptive cruise control, collision prevention assist, lane departure warning system, reversing camera, traffic sign recognition, 8” touch screen, auto dimming rear view mirror, body coloured heated door mirrors, electric door mirrors, body coloured externals, DAB radio, steering wheel mounted controls, rear spoiler, LED daytime running lights, automatic air conditioning, leather steering wheel, road sign info display, WILK seats, alarm and immobiliser. In terms of additional factory options, there is not much which you can add (you can increase/decrease in spec-range) – consider the SUV pack, Sports Pack or the upgraded 17” alloys.
On the technical-side, company car and business users can note the P11d at £24,895.00 and CO2 at 86g/km. The 1798CC engine 1 speed auto engine delivers 74.3 combined MPG, 122ps and 0-62 times of 11 seconds.
So would the Toyota CH-R be your select SUV leasing option? Or would the VW T-Roc, Seat Arona or Kia Niro get your vote?
