Another day, another Evoque! This time to one of our local Manchester personal leasing customers who came to the CarLease UK premises to collect their new vehicle and organise the sale of their existing vehicle (which was financed via a Hire Purchase arrangement.) In some cases our used-car partners, VR Car Centre, will work with us to offer a part-exchange facility customers so that any equity in their existing vehicle can be used towards their new contract hire vehicle.
If you are looking to sell your vehicle with us, as opposed to privately or with an online purchaser like webuyanycar, or ebay or autotrader, just let us know and one of our team will arrange a valuation for you. This gives you the option of using any surplus equity in the vehicle towards your initial rental or you can simply stick the money in the bank!
In terms of our customer here, we were introduced via one of our existing customers who had recently received a Renault Captur. Like that customer, the recent changes on the rules pertaining to salary sacrifice schemes meant that the NHS car option was not a viable one. Instead, she elected to procure a personal lease deal and use her car allowance/mileage allowance in that way.
The car shown is based on the following configuration:
· Yulong White – Metallic Paint
· Grained Leather Seats – Cirrus
· Colourway – Lunar/Cirrus
· Cirrus Headlining
· Satin Brushed Aluminium Trim Finisher
· 18″ 5 Split Spoke Alloys Wheels – Style 506
In terms of standard factory specification, the vehicle has some great options – leather upholstery, 18” alloys (2 choices), 12-way adjustable driver and passenger seats, electrically adjustable seats, heated front seats, InControl touch navigation, hill start assist, Bluetooth, cruise control, parking sensors (front and rear), fog lights, high beam assist, xenon headlights and interior mood lighting. For additional factory (or after-market) options consider the colour contrast roof, privacy glass and a rear view camera. This definitely makes the car a perfect product!
On the technical side, company car users take note of the £32,945 P11d and the 113g/km CO2. The 1999CC diesel engine, a 6 speed manual, will offer 150ps and 0-62 mph times of circa 11 seconds plus MPG of 65.7 combined. For this car, service intervals are set at every 12 months or 16,000 miles, whichever lands sooner.
The Range Rover Evoque has an almighty following. However, we would always say to customers to consider their options too – there are great options with the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC or even the higher specification Kia or Ford and Hyundai options.
The SUV leasing class is absolutely littered with great choice. Competition has never been higher.
If your mind is made up on the Evoque, just note that they offer a manual 2WD SE (as per the one shown here) and a 4WD manual and auto 180ps diesel option (seen here.) Also note there are plenty of great specification levels including the SE Tech, HSE Dynamic (20” alloys, Narvik black styling, pro navigation, illuminated treadplates), HSE Dynamic Luxury (keyless entry, panoramic roof, surround camera, 10” touch screen and Meridian sound system) and the Autobiography (full oxford leather, 14-way adjustable seats, LED lights, climate seats, InCotrol Secure).
So what do you think, is the Evoque the ultimate in luxury SUV leasing deals or would you be heading for another option?
